The United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) will host the Air Transportation Information Exchange Conference (formerly known as the Joint AIXM / Weather Information Exchange Model (WXXM) Conference) on August 30-September 1, 2011 at the NOAA Auditorium and Science Center in Silver Spring, MD.
The Conference has been expanded to include Flight Information and efforts towards a Flight Information Exchange Model. The conference is intended for the aeronautical information, aviation meteorological (MET), and flight object communities; including software developers, web service developers, program managers, experts, and users of aeronautical, flight and weather information.
This conference will be the forum for a kick-off meeting for the new AIXM Change Control Board.
