As part of the FAA Digital NOTAM project, the FAA is organising a meeting on August 29 focused on Industry Requirements for Digital NOTAM Submission. The meeting will take place on August 29, 2007 from 9 AM to 4 PM in Washington DC.

We would like to invite you to participate in the AIXM 5 Workshop to be held in Brussels on 10-11 September 2007.
The Workshop will present the AIXM 5 design philosophy, its main packages and examples of application, including news about the FAA and EUROCONTROL digital NOTAM trials. The second day will be dedicated to a detailed walk-through of the AIXM packages and examples of XML encoding.

The United States Federal Aviation Administration will host an AIXM 5 Class on October 10-11, 2007 in Washington DC. The class is intended for developers and aeronautical information experts.
Topics to be covered include:
1. The AIXM data content model.
2. The AIXM design including ISO 19100 standards, GML and XML
3. AIXM applications including Digital NOTAM
The class will begin at 9 AM daily. The class is open to anyone, but seating is limited. The location of the class will be provided to registered participants.

xNOTAM Workshop #2

A first meeting of the European Digital NOTAM stakeholders took place in April 2007, where the digital NOTAM concept and the objectives of the proposed implementation project have been reviewed. We would like to invite you to participate in the second xNOTAM Workshop, to be held in Brussels on 20-21 November 2007.
The main topics include:
1. the review of an initial proposal for a "digital NOTAMs concept of operations";
2. the detailed presentation of the xNOTAM Trial, which will take place between January-June 2008. More details about this Trial are available from the link below.
The meeting will start on 20 November at 9:00. Due to the size of the conference room, a limited number of places are available (max. 70 participants).

Digital NOTAM Submission Working Group

The second Digital NOTAM Submission Working Group meeting will be held on December 5th, 2007 at Washington DC. This meeting is for the development of digital system interfaces for submitting candidate NOTAMs to the FAA. Participants from EUROCONTROL will be joining the meeting to present ongoing xNOTAM trials.
